The companion website for Who's Killing Aphrodite's Priestesses

In this section we will look into the Devine Feminine:

Who is She?

Where did she come from?

Why should I believe?

Evidence for Aphrodite

Is Aphrodite Real?

I believe so.  The question is what do you believe?  The truth is most us us have not thought much about this, so let's begin with this ... who do I believe Aphrodite is? To me this name does not just represent a character in Greek mythology. I use the name Aphrodite to represent the Devine Feminine, and I believe She is more real than we are. The name Aphrodite communicates beauty, grace, femininity and strength. Whatever the Devine Feminine is, She is all of that and infinitely more, and so I use a name that at least attempts to communicate as much of this as possible.

Now all things spiritual defy proof. The only real question is what resonates in the individual soul of each of us, and that is up to you. Still, with questions like this it may be useful for you to begin with what we actually do know.  Throughout human history there were lots of names for the Devine Feminine. In European prehistory She may well have been known as:

                                                         the Great earth Mother

In other places other names have been used such as:

Mika, Naya, Wirin, Warrina, Kirra, Yindi

Native Americans who still cling to the richness of their old ways use:

                                                             Atabey and Atina

Buddhists knew Her in antiquity and still revere Her today her as:

                                                                      Tara

Likewise Hindus knew Her and know Her still as:

                                                                   Lakshimi

Now we will get to the Judea/Christian bible. Yes, the Devine Feminine most certainly is the bible.  There are seven names for God in Hebrew.  One of them is:

                                                                  El Shaddai

This name for God was used 53 times.  A deep non-misogynistic dive into Hebrew reveals that the translation of El Shaddai is "The God with breasts," which is clearly referring to a Goddess, right there, 53 times scatted throughout the Old Testament.  She was also known in the book of Proverbs as:

                                                                    Wisdom

The Devine Feminine is found in every religion of the world, sometimes in plain sight, in other places misogynists doing the translating thought they had to be more subtle but even then She is there. I call Her Aphrodite, because that communicates, beauty, grace and power to me.

So what is the main evidence for Aphrodite? If you open your heart, you can feel her. You may not know this, but your intuition comes from Her. It's Her way of communicating with you and why intuition is so much stronger in women than men.

Where did Aphrodite come from?

If you go out into the night, get quiet and open your heart to believe what you feel, you will find that Aphrodite will sing to you. For me, these experiences form the foundation of why I believe, and once you learn to open yourself, it is amazing what Aphrodite will sing to your soul. Please consider this reading of a song
She sang to me:

In the moment the heavens began …

and the companions of Adonai were born …

I came to be ...

along with angels and archangels …

cherubim and seraphim …

We were fresh and new,

we learned and loved …

we played and grew ...

in a paradise we called Xanadu

And then one bright and shining day

I stretched forth my heart in a new way …

I felt my magic and learned to make it fly …

and won the heart of Adonai

This turned out to be as He had hoped …

you see … He made me to be free …

and choosing Him ... or not ... was up to me.

I chose Him and the two of us became

… We

Our love grew … and in time

He became Abba and I became Mama

when I gave Him our Son …

and then after a time ... in it's own time

this universe came to be

And We … now Three …

began to steer and strive …

to work and to drive ...

we brought this universe alive …

and in time … life grew to thrive

Which brings us through the ages now to you …

And this lesson of long ago …

My magic is woven into the hearts of all little girls …

who are actually my daughters in disguise

So listen my daughters …

and learn this lesson from long ago ...

there is nothing you cannot try …

you see

we are magic you and I …

From the beginning until the end

there is nothing you cannot do ...

because you are my daughter and ...

you see

we are magic Me and you …

How do you learn to hear the songs of Aphrodite yourself?

Please consider the first song she ever sang to me, and just so you know, to me Her ethereal voice sounds a lot like the immortal Oliva Newton-John singing

"Magic"

This is how I started. You can too.

With no barriers between us …

under the night’s starscape look up …

spread your arms wide …

open your heart wider and

… l i s t e n …

This is the time, the very best time …

to learn a lesson from long ago …

that the hopes you’ve come to know

are now living in Xanadu …

and meant to come true

Breathe deep my night’s starscape

and you’ll know in your heart

… we are magic

you and me …

Breathe deep my night’s starscape

and you’ll feel me in your mind …

and the power that you find

is true … and it’s for you …

Learn this ... believing in your hope

makes it mine too so remember

... we are magic

you and me …

And once you’ve learned

this lesson of long ago …

All your hopes will survive …

and as long as you strive ... Xanadu will arrive

All your hopes will survive

and Xanadu will arrive

thru me …

for you …
